1st Mediterenean Dance Competition "Magia Arbatova" - Tel Aviv

Another glowing victory for the Ballet School of Larissa at the First Mediterenean Dance Competition "Magia Arbatova" which took place in Tel Aviv on the 12th and 13th May.

Maria Boubouli was awarded the Gold Medal and Olga Tsimourta the Silver Medal.

This competition was for dancers between 15-26 years of age, and many of the dancers that attended had a tradition of a classical background.
Maria Boubouli and Olga Tsimourta charmed the audience and judges with their clean technique, nature interpretation and were the undisputed winners.

Both winners are students of the Professional Level Preparatory Class of the Municipal Ballet School of Larissa and their teacher is Gesh Mihov, Director of the School, who accompanied them to Tel Aviv.

The Competition was organised by the Susan Delal Center and the Ballet Foundation "Maya Arbatova" which is named its founder in her honour, who wanted to develop the classical ballet in Israel and its' neighbouring countries.
