ELENINA NIKOLAOU among the ten best dancers in Europe .

Elenina Nikolaou, dance Champion, in Greece, has fully represented our country at the European Dance Contest for Young Dancers, by EBU- 10 th EUROVISION YOUNG DANCERS, that took place on 29, June-4, July, 2003, at Stadsschouwburg Theatre in Amsterdam.

Elenina Nikolaou performing, with fluid grace at the half-final European Dance Contest, was elected for the finals, honouring our national colours and Larissa itself. Elenina's elegant performance brought her to the top, among the ten best dancers in Europe , surpassing a host of dancers from countries with a great and long tradition on classical and modern dance. Elenina Nikolaou performed, at semi-finals, a variation from "Paquita" and did the choreography "DIVA SONG", by Gesh Mihov (music by Eric Serra) with beauty and grace. At the finals, she delicately performed a variation from "Paquita", she presented a lavish spectacle creating a great sensation.

The critics committee consisted international dance celebrities: VLADIMIR VASILEV, PAOLA CANTALUPO DERRICK BROWN, LIZ IMPERIO, SUSANNE LINKE.

The finals show was broadcast on Friday, 4 July, at 9 p.m , commentator was Alexis Kostalas.
