New Triumph!

The winners of the Pan-Hellenic Dance Competition (9-10 March) which was organised by ERT A.E.were Olga Tsimourta and Tina Nassika (students of the Professional Level Preparatory Class of the Municipal Ballet School of Larissa). They were chosen to represent Greece at the 9th Grand Prix Eurovision for Young Dancers under the auspices of EBU.

Olga Tsimourta and Tina Nassika performed two choreographies by Gesh Mihov "Thalassa" (the sea) and "Rythmique"
Their clean technique and exceptional dynamic and maturity of their performance charmed the audience and judges. Both girls have trained with Gesh Mihov, who is director of the School.

The "Alexandros Onassis" Foundation rewarded both dancers for their Pan-Hellenic victory by giving them a dance scholarship for one year at any school and country of their desires.

The 9th Grand Prix Eurovision which was organised by the BBC was held at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden from 18-23 June.

The finals took place on 23rd June and was shown live by ERT television in Greece. The appearance of both Greek girls left the best impressions.
