Larissa’s Municipality, in process of time, has always been the leader for the development of the cultured life of the city. Our basic principle on our policy has ever been the growth and broadening of culture for a high quality of life for the citizens of this city. As a result of the realisation of such a spirit of policy is the blossoming and practice of Artistic expression supported and manipulates by the relative Municipal Organisations, being headed by our Mayor Konstantinos Tzanakoulis. The miraculous blossoming of the Art of Dance, in our city, has been realized by the Municipal Ballet School of Dance (1997) and the Thessalian Ballet The Municipal Ballet School of Larissa, the Higher Professional Dance School of Larissa and the Thessalian Ballet have changed the standards of the Art of Dance in Larissa and in Greece. The Municipal Ballet School, as a first stage, offers amateur dance studies. The Higher Professional Dance School offers professional dance studies and professional personal qualifications. The Thessalian Ballet is the Dance Team which enrolls graduates and students from the Higher Dance School, talented students from the Professional Level Preparatory Class of the Municipal Ballet School, as well as collaborates with dancers from Greece and abroad. |
