  As a citizen of the city I feel happy to see the Dance Art blossoming out in our city recently.
The Municipal Ballet School and the Higher Ballet School cover all levels of teaching and learning the Art of Dance.

Leading up to professional qualifications the establishment of schools in Thessaly realized the Municipal's dream of founding in this city a Ballet stage of high prestige and fame all over Greece and even world.

The development of the Ballet in Larissa has contributed to the broad cultural revival, on any field, brought about the courtesy of the Municipal cultural organizations, such as: Music, the Theatre, Painting, the Movies, Marionette shows, and so many other cultural activities.

I feel confident that the site you are surfing now, will greatly contribute to the development of Artistic ideas, which, I may say, is the only way, for the humanity, to face and escape every day grim realities.

I, myself, as the Mayor of this city, I 'd like to assure you that I will ever support any filed of cultural activity, so we can all share in times of cultural prosperity and happiness.
