The Thessalian Ballet presented a splendid gala performance that took place yesterday ( Thursday, 2, October) in honor of the renowned film maker Theodoros Agelopoulos, at the Municipal Theatre of Karditsa, by the courtesy of the municipalities of Karditsa, Larissa, the University of Thessaly and D.E.T.A.K.
A host of celebrities did the honor to Theodoros Agelopoulos, together with a great number of people of arts. There were present at that entertainment:
Mr. Konstantopoulos, President of Synaspismos (political party),
Mr. Karatziotis, Thessaly 's Prefect,
Mr. Tzanakoulis, Larissa's Mayor,
Mr. Tegos, Karditsa's Mayor,
Mr. Tamilos, Trikkeon's Mayor,
Mr. Krommythas, D.E.T.PO.L's President,
Mrs. Koursoumi, D.E.T.PO.L's member,
Mr. Patouliotis, D.E.T.PO.L's Director,
Mrs. Daroussi, member of D.E.T.PO.L syndicate.
Mr. Tskiris, the Prime Minister counselor, honored the Gala - entertainment and gave a speech about the quality of life of the Greek citizens.
The choreography performed was created by Mrs. Kelly Karahaliou, inspired by the theme written by Hellen Karaindrou for the film, "Melissokomos".
The dancers were, Ioanna Lagou, Nikoleta Batzalexi, Eviki Dafalia.
Elenina Nikoaou, for once more, performed, in an ethereal way, the choreography "Tango" by Ophelia Vilarova (music by Astor Piazzola).
Gesh Mihov was the Director of the Thessalian Ballet that offered such a heavenly entertainment to people of Thessaly .
