A big number of dance lovers crowded the theatre to enjoy Thessalian Ballet's performance got up in memory of Stelina's Moisi, who passed away this day, eight years ago.

The money collected was donated to IASSO, as a least charity for the children who struggle to survive cancer.

Their performed free, Natassa Siouta and Stratos Papanoussis, top dancers of the National Ballet School, who performed adagio from the third part of the "Sleeping Beauty"and "Don Quihotte".

There also danced, Elenina Nikolaou, Eleana Andreoudi, Vassiliki Sagona, Alkistis Makropoulou, Natassa Ntanou, all soloists of the Thessalian Ballet, who performed variations from "Giselle", "Paquita", "Le Corsaire" , "La suite en blanc", "Etude", "Pas de Quatre", as well as the neoclassic choreography "Tango" ( music by Astor Piazzola, choreography by Ophelia Vilarova).

The Director of the said Dance Gala was Mr. Gesh Mihov, Director of the Thessalian Ballet.

A few words about Natassa Siouta's and Strato Papanoussi's C.V .:

Natassa Siouta was born in Athens , a graduate of Higher Dance School as Niki's Kontaxaki and teachers Mrs. Vassiliki Kinka and Triantaphylo Karamanidi.

In 1993, she participated in Moscow Dance Contest and passed to the Finals.

In 1996 took part in the Contest, in Varna , having got a scholarship from R.A.D.

She has so far performed: "Sylphide", "Koppelia", "Le Corsaire", "Flower Festival", "Tchaikovsky pas de Deux", "Serenata", "Romeo and Juliet" and "Don Quixote"

 

Stratos Papanoussis, was born in Thessaloniki . He started his ballet studies at Merry's Liatsou School and continued then at Aspa's Foutsi one. His teacher was Stephan Christof. He graduated the Higher Professional Dance School of Despoina Grigoriadou (in Athens ) taught by K. Bogoeva, B. Risova, G. Mihov.

Since 1992, he has been a member of the National Ballet Theatre, performing works of foreign and Greek choreographers.

In 1995 joined the Perth Team ( Australia ) where he worked as a soloist on "Don QUIXOTE" by Kalina Bogoeva.

In 1997 was promoted to a solist in the Ballet of the National Ballet School .

He has participated in a big number of Modern Dance Groups , and so far he has performed : "Paquita", "Don Quixotte", "Giselle", "Sopeniana", "Le Corsaire", "Sleeping Beauty", "Bayadera", Nutcracker", "Zorbas", "Raymonda" and so on.

In 2000 he was promoted to top dancer.
