A NEW GREAT SUCCESS for the Municipal Ballet School at the 14 th International Dance Contest at Rieti (16-24 April).

Vassiliki Sagona, student of the Municipal Ballet School and an excellent ballerina of the Thessalian Ballet, managed to reach finalist at the 14 th International Dance Contest at Rieti (16-24 April) taking the 4 th place in the finals of the grade Juniors.

The famous International Dance Contest took place at the great theatre "Flavio Vespasiano", excellently organized by the municipality of Rieti and the Ministry of Education of Italy .

The director of the said Contest is Mr. Walter Zappliini. The Contest board consisted of well-known dance personalities: Walter Zappolini, James Urbain, Sylvie Mougeolle, Luciano Cannito, Margarita Trayanova, Mario Piazza.

At the grade Juniors -Classical Dance, where Vassiliki Sagona managed to take the 4 th place in the finals, there took part 34 dancers from Russia , Brasil , Albania , Poland , Italy , Greece and so on.

Vassiliki Sagona performed variations with grace and beauty from "Giselle", "La suite en blanc", getting the 4 th place in the finals, surpassing a big number of ballerinas from the 34 countries participants.

Vassiliki was escorted by her teacher and Director of the Municipal Ballet School and the Higher Dance School of D.E.T.PO.L.
