This cheerful music of Saint Saens gave the possibility to Camelia Damali, teacher of the Municipal Ballet School of Larissa, to choreograph a fairy-tale, giving the chance for the soloists and the younger students to perform together.

The Queen of the Animals visits the forest and the Animals dance in honour of her presence.

2001: it was first performed by the Thessalian Ballet Company with the co-operation of the Symphonic Orchestra of the Municipal Conservatory of Larissa in the hall of the Larissa Municipal Conservatory and in Trikala.

The role of the Queen of the Animals was danced by Nikoletta Batzalexi and Vassiliki Soultouki.
